Rais of Tatarstan visits new scientific and educational programmes of Kazan Aircraft University

On 2 November, during his visit to the Kazan National Research Technological University (Kazan Aircraft University) the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with new research and education facilities such as the Individual Protection Gear engineering Center, which develops advanced engineering and technological solutions for protective gear including workwear and protection materials for gas and oil sphere workers. 

Separate sphere of the creative space work is the design and manufacture of new fashionable clothes based on Tatar national costume and, after giving a positive assessment of the imitative, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded about the Centre of folk crafts and masters to be located in the Central Shopping Mall, having said: ”We will give you a demonstration place in the new center.” 

Then Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the advanced technologies class “The Digital Horizon” opened in March of the current year, the main task of which is to teach project work to students to solve tasks of the university industrial partners (Gasprom, SIBUR, Rosneft and LukOil) and to develop elements of digital twins of various productions including petrochemical ones. 

Rustam Minnikhanov also got acquainted with the work of the new DigTech facility which implements additional BIM-technologies education programms for students and specialists.
