On 1 November at their meeting on the sidelines of the XII St Petersburg International Gas Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Gazprom Deputy Board Chairman Vitaliy Markelov, who is also the Head of the Gazprom Department, and Director General of the Gazprom Mezhregiongas Company Sergey Gustov discussed issues of supplying machinery produced by the Kazan CompressonMash Plant to the Gazprom and laying the gas pipeline for supplying natural gas to the LNG complex at the Sviyazhsk inter-regional multi-modal logistics center.
“Development and production of new compressor units of the Kazan CompressonMash for the Gazprom open broad opportunities for 100 per cent import replacement at gas-processing plants all over Russia. In its turn the development of this produce opens promising possibilities of giving work load to Tatarstan enterprises and creating additional 300 jobs at them,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
At their meeting the parties also discussed issues of implementation of the Programme of developing gasification and gas supply in Tatarstan in 2022-2025, which was signed on the sidelines of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” in 2022. The Programme presupposes design and construction of 28 facilities with the total cost of nearly 3.5bn rubles, including distribution gas pipelines with the total length of 85.6 kilometers and 6 gas-engine transport facilities.
