Rustam Minnikhanov meets Governor of St Petersburg Aleksandr Beglov

On 1 November at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Gas Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of St Petersburg Aleksandr Beglov discussed further steps in development of all-round cooperation of Tatarstan and St Petersburg, and strengthening of trade-economic and humanitarian relations.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov gave high assessment to the level of the forum organization and stated that Tatarstan traditionally is taking an active part in it and the branch exhibition.

In his turn, Aleksandr Beglov reminded that in 2024 there will be memorial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the final lift of the Leningrad siege and thanked the administration of Tatarstan for the support given to survivors of the Siege living in the republic.
