Aleksey Pesoshin visits correctional facility №2 in Kazan

On 31 October Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, accompanied by his Aid Daufit Khamadishin, the Head of the Russian Federal Prison Service’s branch in the republic Eduard Khialeev, Deputy Head of the regional Penitentiary Department Andrey Yakovenko and the head of the correctional facility №2 Marat Sayfutdinov, visited correctional facility №2 of the Russian Federal Prison Service’s branch in the republic, where he attended a number of units’ dorms and got acquainted with living conditions of prisoners.

In the industrial zone of the facility Aleksey Pesoshin visited the machine-assembling and macaroni products shops and at the exposition he was shown the produce of foundry and sewing shops. In addition the delegation visited the kitchen and bakery workplaces.

Issues of the development of the correctional facility №2 and the criminal penitentiary system of the republic, namely attraction of new investors and ordering customers as well as expansion of the produce range and its demand in the regional market were discussed during the visit.
