Rais of Tatarstan gives an errand to organize events dedicated to the National Unity Day at the high level

On 28 October, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that heads of the cities and regions should hold ceremonial events dedicated to the National Unity Day at the high level. 

“Next week on 4 November our country is celebrating the National Unity Day which has an important historic meaning. 411 years ago the multi-national people's volunteer corps freed Moscow from Polish invaders and today this holiday symbolizes our solidarity in the struggle for freedom and independence and reflects cultural diversity and unity of people living in the Russia Federation,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized. 

The Rais of the republic stated that it is planned to organize ceremonial events in all cities and regions. On top of that an exposition of Tatarstan will be represented in Moscow at the “Russia” exhibition forum. And on 3 November the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center will host the gala concert of the ethnic-cultural festival “Our home Tatarstan. Russia.”
