Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with a number of innovational developments at a meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding board of Directors

On 27 October in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of  Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Tatneftekhiminvest Holding Board of Directors, where a number of enter[rises and companies presented their innovational developments.

Thus a member of the SIBUR Holding Board Pavel Lyakhovish proposed to expand the use of polymer materials in construction and Housing and Utilities Sector by replacing metal pipes, which will decrease water losses and the use of foam polystyrene will substantially decrease heat losses.

The Director General of the Laser Technologies Center Thermolaser from Vladimir Dmitriy Chukhlantsev told about metallic alloys heat treating and weld overlay by robotic complexes which  increase details resistance. He also showed metallic powders for weld overlay and 3-D printing produced by the Center. “The topic is timely under the conditions of closure of import supplies and the weld overlay makes it possible to restore details which were previously brought from the US and Germany,” the company Director General said.

Giving his comments, Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to joint efforts with the participation of the Kazan Aircraft University Laser Center and Tatarstan Venture Investment Fund.

The President of the VMP Company from Yekaterinburg Mikhail Vakhrushev told about anticorrosion materials for metals and concrete, fireproof substances, polymer tops for floors and metallic powders produced by the company and asked to support broader use of VMP materials at Tatarstan facilities.

After the Director General of the Solar Company from Innopolis Denis Kuznetsov told about digital BIMAR SYSTEMS for mounting marking of steel and about digital twins of buildings construction elements to be used in construction, Rustam Minnihanov said: “It is a very interesting topic. These technologies should be also used in road construction and when laying underground engineering networks.”

The Director General of the Inter-branch Expertise and Analytics Center of the Petrochemical Industrialists Union Anatoliy Zamriy informed that a robotics installation for cleaning reservoirs from oil products LUNAR ROVER was developed in Russia and proposed to establish a regional company for providing such services. The ROVER has been build using the model of a moon walker and can be controlled by video communication eliminating the hazard of working inside reservoirs.

Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to access possibilities of the new robotics installation and test in reservoir parks at petrochemical enterprises.
