Roman Shaykhutdinov meets the Ambassador of Brazil to Russia Rodrigo Baena Soares

On October 19, at their meeting on the sidelines of Digital Innopolis Days Forum, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Russia Rodrigo Baena Soares, who came on a working trip to Kazan to participate in the Forum, discussed the cooperation under the BRICS, establishing connections between Innopolis University and Brazilian universities, the possibility of creating a joint laboratory on artificial intelligence and the use of technologies and developments of the Russian IT university in Brazil.

In his turn, Shaykhutdinov emphasized that the University of Innopolis already has a student exchange programme with the largest Brazilian university Minas Gerais. In addition, the parties discuss mutual recognition of diplomas and disciplines, joint research and publications in a wide range of areas, as well as the exchange of professors and teaching staff.
