Tatarstan Investments Council presided by Rustam Minnikhanov approves eight projects

On 13 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Investments Council of the republic which considered eight investments projects.

Thus participants of the meeting discussed the following issues: the project of development of petrochemical sphere and motor fuel bio components by the TANEKO Company, which presupposes construction of a plant for production  terephthalic acid and motor fuel bio components in Nizhnekamsk municipality, the project of establishment of a lighting engineering center in the Settlement of Stolbische, the strategic development of the Krasnyy Vostok agricultural holding in cattle breeding and horticulture in 2023-2027, which presupposes construction of two grain elevators and several forage centers,  the construction of a multi-fuel petrol station, including the LNG, by the Kazan-Orenburg highway section near Kazan and the development of  Almetyevsk agribusiness park.

The meeting also listened to an investor-company, which presented a project of construction machine aided farms for 800 animal units and feed-lots for raising cattle in Tyulachy region of the republic, to a project of the plastic recycling unit at the Tyulachy Industrial Park,  and the projects of establishment of an industrial complex in Tukay municipality.

After all the projects were approved by the meeting, the Head of the Tatarstan Investments Development Agency Taliya Minullina reported about implementation of investments projects considered by the Council from 2021 to 2023 and said that in the last two years the investment in Tatarstan show a substantial growth compared to the previous five years.

She also informed that 53 out of 214 investments projects considered by the Council since 2012 have already been completed, 117 are under implementation and 44 of them were not realized because of a number of reasons.
