Rais of Tatarstan holds a joint meeting of the Council and unscheduled general meeting of members of the Association of the Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR)

On 12 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a joint meeting of the Council and unscheduled general meeting of members of the Association of the Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR), where it was announced that Ivan Fedotov is living the post of the Association Director.

Giving his comments, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “It is worth to mark the contribution made by Ivan Fedotov into the development of the Association. A lot of workshops, round tables and business missions, including those abroad, have been held during his stay in office. The Association has strengthened its positions and the number of its members has increased from 14 to 18 regions”.

Speaking at the meeting, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin congratulated the Director on the regional development from the RANEPA Aleksandr Smekalin with having been elected the new Association Director and said: “I wish success to all heads of our innovative regions. Please, pay attention to strategic sessions held by the Chairman of the government as we have a number of innovative ones related to technological sovereignty, increasing production capacity and export of services, it is necessary to see how regions will be integrated into these programmes”.
