Rustam Minnikhanov to veterans of the Tatarstan civil service: You, veterans, are our «golden asset»

On October 3, at the Kazan City Hall, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the Head of the Administration of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov and representatives of public veteran organizations had a meeting with veterans of the Tatarstan civil service.

Welcoming the meeting participants, Minnikhanov said that such events have already become traditional in the republic. “We respect our older generation,” Minnikhanov said. He emphasized that veterans, with their labor, laid the foundation in the socio-economic development of Tatarstan, and today civil servants continue the work of their predecessors. “I sincerely welcome you,” he continued, addressing the veterans who participated in the meeting. “We are always glad to meet you. I wish everyone good health, take care of yourself. You, veterans, are our “golden asset”. Thank you for your civil position. Your civic position is always important for the republic, especially at such a time – when our country faced new challenges,” Minnikhanov emphasized. The Rais of Tatarstan handed in a number of state awards to veterans of the civil service of the republic. The event continued with a concert of artists of different genres and creative groups of Tatarstan.
