Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening new headquarters of Alabuga Politech

On 2 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Chairman of the Board of VTB Bank Andrey Kostin and Russian Deputy Minister of Finance Irina Okladnikova took part in a ceremony of opening new headquarters of Alabuga Politech Educational Center, which was built with the aim of providing accommodation, education and office infrastructure for rent for worker of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Alabuga and students of the center. 

The guests looked round the facilities of the headquarters, including 706 flats, places for work and leisure, children’s playrooms, beauty salons and others and then Rustam Minnikhanov, Andrey Kostin and Irina Okladnikova signed a development strategy of the SEZ Alabuga for the next 25 years.

Later the same day the Rais of Tatarstan and other guests visited the Alabuga Politech Educational Center which can train 10 thousand students a year, where the students told them about the dual programme when for the first half of the day they learn how to work the modern equipment under supervision of mentorship of the best engineers of the SEZ resident plants and after lunch they study subjects at vocational schools. At the same time they pass internship at operating units of the company. After graduation the students become high qualified and wanted specialists. 

During their visit to Alabuga the guests also had a tour round the Special Economic Zone.
