Rustam Minnikhanov at the events dedicated to the Day of Engineering Workers: Our republic is the largest machine-building center of the country

On 30 September upon his arrival to Naberezhnyye Chelny, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the city on a working trip to take part in events dedicated to the Day of Engineering Workers,  visited the stadium of technical sports and got acquainted with the exposition of machine-building products of enterprises of the republic.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov together with Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov , regional Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko and the Mayor of Naberezhnyye Chelny Nail Magdeev took part in a ceremonial meeting in the Organ Hall of the city , where he congratulated all workers of the regional machine-building complex with their professional holiday.

“Our republic is the largest machine-building center of the country. The branch has about 4 thousand enterprises employing 124 thousand workers. Under today’s sanctions pressure their work teams properly solve the set tasks, introduce new developments and increase the amount of produce. We are grateful to Russian President Vladimir Putin the Russian Government for their continuous support. Tatarstan also provides all necessary help to our enterprises,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

As result the amount of shipped products exceeded 650bn rubles in eight months of the current year, he informed.

Expressing his gratitude to work teams fulfilling the tasks of the special military operation and companies which attach great attention to helping both participants of the operation and their families, the Rais of the republic said that is it extremely important that with the aim of ensuring the technological independence of our country Tatarstan enterprises, such as the KAMAZ, the Kazan Aircraft Plant and Kazan Helicopter Plant and Sollers, implement new investments projects

Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded about old stagers present at the meeting and families where several generations working together at plants of the republic and said: “Such families are the pride of our republic!”

In conclusion he wished workers and old stagers of the machine-building branch further success, fruitful work, good health and prosperity and handed in state awards to the most outstanding workers of the branch.
