Tatarstan is making its contribution into the development of Russia-India relations by exchanging visits and receiving numerous Indian business missions, he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that recently there is a growth of mutual trade turnover but it is necessary to ramp up our business contacts, in particular by organizing business delegations which can help to define which spheres are interesting for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Rais of Tatarstan made a brief presentation of Tatarstan as one of the leading and industrially developed entities of Russia and invited Indian colleagues to take part in events to be held in Kazan in 2024, including the International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: “KazanForum” which is the main federal platform for interaction of Russia and Muslim countries and in the international championship “The Games of the Future”.
Another important even to be held in Kazan next year is the summit of head of BRICS and BRICS+ countries, and the region is actively preparing for this large-scale event, Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
