Rustam Minnikhanov asks Tatarstan residents to follow preventive measures because of the flu and ARVI incidence rate

On 23 September, speaking at a Saturday meeting in the Government house of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov asked Tatarstan residents to follow preventive measures against the flu and ARVI.

With the onset of the fall there is the rise of the flu and ARVI incidence rate in the republic. Last week this indicator grew by 46 per cent compared to 37% two weeks earlier. “One of the main preventive measures is vaccination and 824 thousand doses of vaccine have already come to the republic. It is necessary to cover 60 per cent of the population,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He also gave an errand to organize entrance filters in educational and working organizations as well as to wear masks, wash hands and use antiseptics.
