Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov meets Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko in the Kazan Kremlin

On 22 September in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko, who came to Tatarstan on the previous day and got acquainted with work at a number of facilities such as biological waste treatment plants, sludge pits in Kazan and the Samosyrovo landfill under re-cultivation. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Victoria Abramchenko for the attention given to the development of the branch in the republic. 

In her turn, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister stated that today Tatarstan ranks the first in implementation of the Ecology national project in the Volga Federal District. 

She informed that all the projects she saw yesterday are being implemented successfully. “Everything is on schedule. We do not see any risks”, she concluded. 

The participants of the meeting also discussed issues of implementation of work on forests protection and implementation of the Ecology national project.
