On 19 September, during his working trip to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a strategic session dedicated to the infrastructure development strategy, which was held by Russian Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin.
Having stated, that the Government is implementing large scale projects in improvement of appearance of cities and settlements, Mishustin said: “Special attention should be paid to Donetsk, Lugansk, Herson and Zaporozhye regions where it is necessary to develop the urban environment according to the same standards as in all other Russian entities as soon as possible.”
He informed that the Head of the state initiated launching of new financial tools, including bonds and corporate treasure loans, to help regions in implementation of all according tasks. “Due to the state support and systemic approach it became possible to increase the construction work amount nearly by 9 per cent in the first 7 months of 2023, and together with the connected spheres and the housing services and utilities the contribution of the branch into the GDP has exceeded 13 per cent,” Mishustin stated.
Russian Prime Minister said that improvement of accommodation conditions is one of priorities. He also informed about development of roads infrastructure, having mentioned the opening of the M-12 highway section from Moscow to Arzamas.
The participants of the meeting also discussed implementation of construction branch KPIs and set up additional solutions aimed at increasing the life level of citizens.
