On 19 September, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that the preparation of the utilities sector facilities to the coming heating season is nearly finished with all works completed by 99.9 per cent.
“During the period between heating seasons the work done on communal services facilities is implemented within the framework of the new federal programme on modernization of the communal infrastructure, including 27 activities of heat and water supply networks in Argyz and Zainks regions and Kazan and Naberezhnyye Chelny,” the Minister said.
The speaker informed that all healthcare, social, educational, cultural, youth and sports facilities are ready for heating and when the average day temperature is 8 degrees for six days, the heat supply will start.
Speaking about heating bills, he said that their rise directly depends on the temperature regime and as a rule the highest bills come in the coldest winter months, namely January and February.
“I attract you attention to the fact that the utility tariffs did not change for the population from 1 July and the next indexation will be from 1 July 2024,” the Minister emphasized.
