Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to create all conditions for farmers at agricultural fairs

On 16 September, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that heads of cities and regions must create all necessary conditions for agricultural fairs.

Traditional agricultural fairs started in the republic on 9 September, with 14 fairs in Kazan, two in Naberezhnyye Chelny and Zelenodolk, 3 in Nizhnekamsk and 26 in regional centers, having sold 78m rubles of agricultural products in the first day already.

“Speaking to organizers, I ask them to pay attention to assortment and quality of goods and prices should also be reasonable,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He emphasized that holding the fairs requires serious organizational efforts and of course financial expenses from regional administrations, agricultural producers and trade organizations and heads of the cities which host the fairs should create all necessary conditions to organize sales. “Most important for you is not to forget to come and say thank you. I know how it is, as myself organized quite a few fairs. It is huge and hard work. That is why I am extremely grateful to rural regions. Heads of regional and city administrations  must attend all fairs and talk to population. This is a good possibility,” the Rais of the republic concluded.
