Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a joint meeting of the Supreme Council and Presidium of the United Russia General Council

On 14 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, who is the Secretary of the United Russia regional branch, took part in a joint meeting of the Supreme Council and Presidium of the United Russia General Council, where its participants discussed results of the single voting day.

The Secretary of the Party General Council Andrey Turchak stated that about 32 thousand  deputy’s seats and elective offices were chosen in 4 200 election campaigns held on the day, with the United Russia receiving 78 per cent of votes at all election levels.  

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the United Russia Supreme Council Boris Gryzlov said it is necessary to exert every effort to fulfill regional public programmes. He added that help to those who are at the front and continuation of the humanitarian mission are the priority.
