Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the forty seven meeting of the State Council of the republic

On September 14, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the forty seven meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the sixth convocation held by Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin.

The agenda included 31 issues. In particular, draft laws amending the Budget, Electoral and Family Codes, the Code on Municipal Service and individual legislative acts of the Republic of Tatarstan have been prepared for the first reading, as well as the regional laws on transport tax, on local referendum, on local self-government, on innovation, on industrial policy, on the organization of major repairs of common property in apartment buildings, on roads and road activities, on education and a number of other issues.

Namely, the Parliament adopted two bills on the approval of standards for the financial provision of State guarantees for the implementation of the rights to public and free pre-school, primary, general and general secondary education, as well as additional education for 2024 and the planned period for 2025 and 2026. Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin informed on this issue. He said that the standarts for free pre-school education have been adopted since 2014 and for free general and additional education since 2008.

Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science and National Affairs Ayrat Zaripov informed about the positive decision of the Committee on the submitted draft laws and proposed their adoption in the first and third readings.

The State Council adopted the bills in general.
