Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade: on the results of 7 months, index of industrial production in the republic made 103,8 percent

On September 9, speaking at a regional meeting at the Government House of the republic chaired by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko said that on the results of 7 months, index of industrial production made 103,8 percent.

Oleg Korobchenko reported on the ongoing work of the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade on the implementation of the action plan to ensure socio-economic stability and economic development of Tatarstan. “According to the results of 8 months the enterprises of the industrial complex of the republic attracted more than 32 billion roubles, including 25 billion in targeted programmes», the minister said. He added that a number of enterprises have taken advantage of the new mechanism of «industrial mortgage».  Under this programme, the amount of attracted funds amounted to 283 million roubles. In 2023, the conditions of industrial mortgage improved: enterprises can buy not only real estate, but also build industrial facilities and carry out reconstruction or modernization.

Reporting on international and interregional ties, the Minister said: “Interregional ties are reaching a new level. As of August 1, the republic has contractual relations with 80 constituent entities of Russia. In 2023, 4 new agreements have been were signed. This year, 54 events aimed at expanding interregional industrial cooperation were held, business missions to the regions are regularly organized”.

The Minister also added that with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade more than 120 international events were held this year. Work on the creation of industrial sites in foreign countries continues. In his report, Korobchenko touched upon the issue of personnel shortage in enterprises of the republic. According to him, to attract the potential workers from neighboring regions, we need a «fast» affordable housing.

He also proposed to write a strategic goal - high-tech Tatarstan.
