Rustam Minnikhanov gives a number of errands at a meeting in the Tatarstan Government House

On 9 September, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands concerning the election to be held on 10 September and the beginning of the heating season.

Speaking about the additional elections of the local self-government bodies members in 37 municipalities of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The Tatarstan Central Elections Committee, the law-enforcement bodies and the Emergencies Ministry should provide all necessary support to the elections commissions to hold voting at the high organizational level and in line with the law. It is also necessary to ensure safety measures at public places and polling stations.”

He also gave an errand to Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic, heads of regions and cities and the branch Ministries and department to start the heating season on time. “It is necessary to prepare all facilities for the heating season in the shortest time possible.  The due date is September 15. We must be ready to start heating when it becomes cold and first of all at all social facilities such as hospitals, schools, kindergartens and boarding schools,” the Rais of the republic said.
