Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the Governor of Kirov region Aleksander Sokolov

On September 7, speaking at a meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Governor of Kirov region Aleksander Sokolov for participating in the International Forum «ROSTKI: Russia and China - mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed confidence that such a platform will be useful for colleagues from neighboring regions to get acquainted with the potential of the Chinese market.

The parties also discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation of Tatarstan and Kirov region.

In particular, Tatarstan supplies trucks, tyres, petroleum products, synthetic rubber, nitrogen fertilizers, glass, a wide range of food products, light industry products, refrigerators and many other goods. Timber products, caustic soda, power cables, concrete products, food products, shoes and clothing are imported from Kirov region. Many Tatarstan enterprises develop production cooperation and trade relations with partners from the Kirov region.

Tatarstan is also ready to share experience in managing the construction complex and infrastructure development, supporting entrepreneurship, creating infrastructure to attract investors.

Minnikhanov said that the International Digital Forum «Kazan Digital Week» is planned for Kazan on September 20-22. He invited the delegation of the Kirov region to take part in this event.

Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Oleg Korobchenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and Regional Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin took part in the meeting from Tatarstan.
