On 5 September at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Permanent Representative of Russia in WTO Dmitriy Lyakishev discussed issues of developing foreign trade under the restrictive measures, search for new sales markets and supporting exporting enterprises.
Speaking at the meeting, Dmitriy Lyakishev gave high assessment to actions taken by the administration of Tatarstan for adaptation of the republic economy, including its foreign trade, to new challenges. In particular, he emphasized that large events with international participation held in Tatarstan facilitate strengthening of trade relations of Russia with friendly countries. First of all it is the platform of the international economic forum “Russia-Islamic World’ KazanForum,” he said.
