Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the construction of Alekseyevskoye-Almetyevsk highway

On 2 Septemebr the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the construction of Alekseyevskoye-Almetyevsk highway, which will be 145 kilometers long and is one of the sections of the Europe-West China corridor. 

The Rais of the republic drove along the completed section of the highway and talked to road construction workers, having mentioned that traffic in this direction keeps growing every year. 

Today the highway is in high readiness condition and by the end of the year the workers will have completed its first 100 kilometers. Currently they are building bridges and overhead crossings and installing lighting poles.

After the construction is complete in 2024, it will be possible to drive from Kazan to Almetyevsk just in two hours.
