Rustam Minnikhanov and Dmitriy Chernyshenko visit the new students’ dorm “The Student’s Home” of the Kazan Aircraft University

On 1 September the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, who came on a working trip to Kazan, and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new 17-storeys students’ dorm “The Student’s Home” of the Kazan Aircraft University which will house 620 people and has the total area of about 16 400 square meters. 

In addition to living rooms with a kitchen, living room and a bathroom, the dorm also has a medical office and a gym and is equipped with CCTV entrance system. The area near the dorm has an open recreation ground and a parking lot.

The federal budget allocated about 874m rubles on the construction of the dorm by the federal projects “Development of infrastructure for scientific research and training specialists.”
