Rustam Minnikhanov: A large number of roads are being built in the republic and it is important that they are of good quality and durable

On 31 August, on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Chemistry Forum at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  took part in a round table meeting in issues of expanding the use of regional oetrichemical products in road construction, where the moderator of the meeting – regional Minister of Transport and Road Economy Farit Khanifov said that nearly 450 first class roads are under construction and will be commissioned simultaneously in the republic. 

“We build the large number of roads and it is important that they are of good quality and durable ,” the Rais of the republic commented. 

Speaking to participants of the meeting, representatives of various companies told them about their projects, Thus the Avtodor Company shared its experience in improving the stability of the roadbed taking into consideration its adaptation to various climatic conditions, while the POTOK Plus presented a new adhesion composition for bitumen, the Alteya developed a modifying supplement for macadam-mastic asphalt concrete and the APATEK Company shared its experience in design, manufacture and operation of bridge construction from polymer composite materials. 

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked all speakers and gave an errand to examine the possibility for using the presented development in road construction in the republic.
