On 31 August on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Chemistry Forum at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a round table meeting on expansion of using petrochemical products in construction, where the regional First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Aleksey Frolov stated that issues of using regional petrochemical produce in construction are becoming more and more important. The mineral and raw materials base and the developed construction branch of the republic make it possible to manufacture a wide range of construction products both from traditional and innovative materials, he said.
“I am sure our joint work with manufacturers, designers and developers will help to ensure the increase of quality, durability and reliability of facilities under construction and other infrastructural objects,” he said.
A number of companies, taking part in the round table presented their developments. Thus the TEPLOPANEL KAMA told about its insulation panels such as energy saving ceiling climatic system and a representative of the Wise-City Systems presented its “smart home” system which can remotely control water supply, lighting, parking and entry phones. “These systems are very interesting. We are going to use such systems more often and we like your innovations,” Rustam Minnikhanov commented.

They are more durable and hufter-proof. The Fund “The institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” should prepare technical specifications for mafs we need including their color, design and so on.”
The head of the Alternative Technologies Company told about modern water-insulation and anti-corrosion materials and the POLIPLASTIK-Volga Company informed about its composite materials and polymer pipeline systems in construction and oil and gas sector.
“You have a huge range of products. We are interested in development of polymer manufacture in Tatarstan. If you have any plans for that we will support you,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
