Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with technologies presented at TatOilExpo-2023

On August 31, during his participation in the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Petrochemical Forum-2023 held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with numerous exhibits of the specialized exhibition TatOilExpo-2023.

After the solemn opening of the Forum, Rustam Minnikhanov and accompanying him officials visited TatOilExpo-2023, where they looked around new petrochemical equipment and technologies.

Thus, the products of the Kazan Engine Building Production Association (KMPO), which produces gas turbine engines, gas compressor units and gas turbine power plants, are presented here.

Among the technological innovations, Minnikhanov was presented a method of utilization of associated petroleum gas with the production of neutral hydrogen and carbon material, developed by the RITEK Company. He also got acquainted with the expositions of research and development centre of petrochemical production (compliance with ESG principles in business, raising awareness of ESG concept through training, development of climate projects to reduce greenhouse gases). Khimgrad Technopolis informed about the achieved economic indicators and prospects for further development, in particular, about the projects in Uzbekistan. Thus, in 2022, Khimgrad’s revenue amounted to more than 68 billion roubles, 368 resident companies are operating, 1030 jobs have been created.

At the TatOilExpo-2023 exhibition, diagnostic systems for equipment for the petrochemical industry, modern materials using petrochemistry, purification complexes and systems of automation and digitization of the petrochemical industry are demonstrated.
