Rustam Minnikhanov and Mintimer Shaimiev attend the showjumping competition at the Kazan Equestrian Complex

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev and the Head of the Russian Equestrian Federation Marina Sechina attended competitions for the Tatarstan Rais Cup dedicated to the Day of the Republic. 

The best jockeys from Tatarstan, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other countries-members of the Eurasian Equestrian Association took part in the competitions and in his welcoming speech Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them and their fans with the Day of the Republic and thanked the Equestrian Federation for its support. “In Tatarstan we attach great attention to development of the equestrian sports”, he underlined. In the end of the competitions he handed in awards to the winners.
