On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the renovated Savior’s Tower of the Kazan Kremlin, which now has a museum opened after its overhaul.
The museum is dedicated to fortification of the fortress and the Savior’s Tower in different periods of time and tells its history starting from the Volga Bulgaria till present.
Its exposition exhibits more than 100 pieces including armaments, architecture and construction materials and the museum space is supplemented by video projections and video touch screens showing information in text, map and graphic format using the 3-D simulation.
The Savior’s Tower will be open for visitors starting from September 1.
