Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Saby region

On August 28, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of Saby region Rais Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov paid a working visit to Saby municipal region of the republic.

During his working visit, the Rais of Tatarstan visited the new hostel building of Saby Agrarian College, where 293 students are studying in operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery, information systems and programming, economics and accounting, construction and other areas. In addition, short-term training programmes for specialists are organized. Minnikhanov looked around the living rooms, the medical unit and the gym and visited an exhibition of craftsmen and got acquainted with the implementation of overhaul and construction projects in the Saby region of the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the new gym equipped for games in mini-football and volleyball with the possibility to operate all year round. There are also locker rooms, showers, a medical room and a room for coaches.

The next facility visited by the Rais of Tatarstan was the Legal Assistance Centre, built this year. Representatives of the State Law Office of Tatarstan will provide free legal assistance to citizens at the centre.

Later the same day, the Rais of Tatarstan visited biological treatment plant aimed at water waste treatment from the territory of the Bogatye Saby.

Then Minnikhanov visited a plant for the production of galvanized products. The company provides anti-corrosion protection of metal structures by hot galvanizing method. This helps to increase the strength of products and significantly increase the service life. The design capacity is 42,000 tonnes of products per year. Rais of Tatarstan got acquainted with the technological cycle of hot-dip galvanizing and plans for further development of production.
