The Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the International Military and Technical Forum “The Army-2023”

On August 14, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the International Military and Technical Forum “The Army-2023” held at Patriot Expo and Kubinka Airbase from 14 to 20 August by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

About 1 500 enterprises of the Russian military industrial complex are exhibiting samples of military technique at the forum grounds, including Tatarstan. The Kazan Helicopter Plant, which is part of the Russian Helicopters Company will present a multi-purpose Mi-17 helicopter. In addition to Russian companies, 85 foreign enterprises from seven countries take part in the forum. In total, more than 200 models of equipment will be exhibited. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a video message to the participants of the Army-2023 Forum.

During the plenary session dedicated to the opening of the Forum, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Khrenin addressed the participants with welcoming words. The plenary session was broadcast online.
