President of Senegal Macky Sall accompanied by Rustam Minnikhanov visits sports infrastructure facilities of Kazan

On 26 July, during his working trip to Tatarstan, the President of Senegal Macky Sall accompanied by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov looked round a number of sports infrastructural facilities in Kazan.

First Macky Sall and Rustam Minnikhanov went to the International Equestrian Complex “Kazan”, where they looked round the race ground and its infrastructure and got acquainted with the work of the complex.

Later the same day they visited the Ak-Bars Arena stadium where the Senegalese President was told about the history of the stadium and the possibilities of the stadium and events held there.  At the stadium Micky Sall and Rustam Minnikhanov also met the KAMAZ MASTER Team, gave a look-over the sports KAMAZ-Master truck and received memorial gifts of the team uniform and the truck models.

After the Senegalese President appraised the pitch turf and kicked the ball, the famous football player and the current coach of the Rubin-2 team Gökdeniz Karadeniz gave him a symbolic gift – the Rubin football club T-shirt.

Then Micky Sall accompanied by Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Water Sports Palace, where the guests were told about international and All-Russia competitions the palace hosted and a school for young swimmers.
