As many as 42 country recreation facilities are functioning in Tatarstan

On 25 July, speaking at briefing held in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to country recreation zones in the republic, the Head of the Directorate on Development of Nature territories and Eco-Tourism of the “Institute of Cities Development” Fund Oksana Sargina informed that 42 country recreation facilities, such as glampings, campings, eco-hotels and recreation centers have been established and are functioning in Tatarstan.

“We can house now more than 1 700 people. There are many possibilities and a big choice. There are different recreation concepts and formats and the price ranges. I think that everybody can find something for him or her-self taking into consideration the type of recreation a person has planned for himself,” Oksana Sargina said.

She also told about the first section of the “Volga Tourist Route” which will have a completed infrastructure in 202and  the information about which will be available through a mobile App, while the Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov informed  about the improvement of beaches with more than 177m rubles already allocated on the programme.
