On 22 July, speaking at a videoconference meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan with all regions of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported that since the beginning of the year representatives of the self-regulating organizations have carried out 1 443 checks of construction site to prevent accidents and preserve peoples’ health and lives. The State Construction Surveillance Inspection carried out 608 inspections and all violations found since January of the current year have been eliminated, he said.
The Minister informed that 2m 479 thousand square meters of housing has been commissioned in Tatarstan by 22 July, which makes 80 per cent of the yearly plan. He also reported about work to be done in providing accommodation for orphaned children, young families and families with many children, for forced migrants and Chernobyl liquidators.
Marat Ayzatullin also reported about programmes of construction of social and cultural facilities, modernization of communal infrastructure and improvement, comprehensive development of rural territories and construction of educational and healthcare facilities.
