On 19 July in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin handed in state awards of Russia and Tatarstan to employees in industry, construction and transport, representatives of medicine, culture, mass media and other spheres.
Speaking at the ceremony, he said: “Thank you for you dedicated work. Each of you has its own sphere of activity but you are all united by commitment to your job.”
Aleksey Pesoshin stated that ability to unite and use joint efforts for solving arising tasks is the foundation of the well-being and social and economic development of the country. He emphasized that social and economic development of the republic is aimed at improvement of the life quality of population and provision of sustainable and innovative progress. “This makes it possible for our republic to be one of the leading regions of the country with a substantial economic potential and the developed human capital,” he said.
Supporting his words, Aleksey Pesoshin informed that in the first five months of the current year the amount of the GRP of the republic made about 1.5 trillion rubles which was by 3.9 per cent more than in the previous year, while the industrial production at the same period grew by 2.5 per cent compared to 2022. “There is a substantial growth of manufacture of computers, electronic and optical devices, electric equipment, furniture, clothes, transportation vehicles as well as trailers and full-trailers,” he said.
Tatarstan ranks the sixth in Russia and the first in the Volga region in the production volume, with investments into the capital stock having reached 156bn rubles in the first three months of the previous year, which is by10 per cent more than in 2022.
“Tatarstan is a unique example of multifaceted traditions, hospitality and solidarity of ethnicities. Successful implementation of projects and social and economic growth are the result of everyday work of residents of the republic. It is your talent, hard work and resilience which make our republic strong and prosperous,” Aleksey Pesoshin concluded.
