On 15 July, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the Director of the Fund “Institute of Tatarstan cities development” Nailya Zinnatullina told about work on improvement of public spaces and yards.
She informed that road work has been completed in 361 yards which makes 67 per cent of the planned and outside lighting has been installed by 63 per cent with work completed in 15 regions.
Nailya Zinnatullina said that 430 enquiries came from residents with 42 per cent of them coming from Kazan where people are interested when the improvement of their yards will be done.
Specialists from the Institute continue their inspection trips to regions of the republic to check the improvement work quality, she said.
Informing about improvement of public spaces, Nailya Zinatullina informed that construction and installation has been completed by 42 per cent, the shaping of comfortable environment – by 36 per cent and the work by the All-Russia competition of small cities – by 37 per cent. After she told that many regions still have not signed contracts with space maintenance organizations, Rustam Minnikhanov called heads of the regions by a video conference and gave them an errand to take the control over issues of public places maintenance.
