Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of the VEB.RF State Development Corporation Igor Shuvalov

On July 14, at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the VEB.RF State Development Corporation Igor Shuvalov discussed the projects being implemented in the republic with the support of VEB.RF. namely, the development of infrastructure in monotowns.

“Tatarstan is actively cooperating with VEB.RF. With your support, two modern technoparks are being built in Innopolis. Large infrastructure projects are being implemented on the line of monotowns», Minnikhanov emphasized.

The meeting recalled the 2013 Universiade in Kazan. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the World University Summer Games. Igor Shuvalov, being the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, headed the Organizing Committee of the Universiade-2013.

Shuvalov warmly recalled the years of preparation for the Universiade in Kazan, noting that the legacy of the student games still serves the republic. At the end of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Order of Merits for the Republic of Tatarstan to Igor Shuvalov.
