Aleksey Pesoshin and German Gref visit facilities of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism

On 11 July Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the President, the Chairman of the Sberbank Board of Directors German Gref, accompanied by regional Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, visited the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism, which currently is hosting the XIV All-Russia Summer Sberbankiade – the main sports competitions of the Sberbank employees, and where the Rector of the University Rafis Burganov showed them round the training-sports complex “The Stormbringer”, open courts of the Tennis Academy and told about the facilities of the Universiade Village which is currently housing 2 500 athletes taking part in the competitions.

Competitions are held from 10 to 14 July with participation of 18teams of the Sber Group fighting for 49 sets of medals in 10 kinds of sports.
