Rustam Minnikhanov and German Gref give start to the XIV All-Russia Summer Sberbankiade

On July 10, at Basket Hall sports complex in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, the Chairman of the Sberbank Board of Directors German Gref and President of the Russian Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretyak took part in the solemn ceremony of opening the XIV All-Russia Summer Sberbankiade.

German Gref thanked Tatarstan for the hospitality and said that Sberbankiade has not been held for the last 4 years. “It seems that people are very much missing communication, sports and holidays. All of us should expect only one thing - that the team of one of the most key companies in our country will become stronger, more united, ready for new challenges, heights and trials. This is the most important result that can be obtained,” the Chairman said.

Minnikhanov emphasized that Sberbank is a strategic partner of Tatarstan.

Sberbankiade – the main sports competitions of the Sberbank employees. Competitions are held from 10 to 14 July with participation of 18teams of the Sber Group fighting for 49 sets of medals in 10 kinds of sports.
