On 4 July at their meeting in the Popov Technical Park in Innopolis, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian senators and members of Russian State Duma from Tatarstan discussed issues of attracting federal money to the economy of the republic.
The Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin, the head of the Office of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, regional First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin and heads of regional ministries and departments also took part in the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the republic has created a good platform for interaction of the deputies’ pool and the executive power bodies and expressed his gratitude to the senators and member of the Duma for their big contribution in work on supporting new territories, the mobilized and members of their families and for collection of humanitarian aid. Analyzing the social and economic situation in the republic, he said that Tatarstan demonstrates a positive dynamics in all key indicators and the republic is implementing large federal projects including those in road construction.
Having informed about using mechanisms of creating business infrastructure and the work on serial production of TU-214 at the Kazan Aircraft Plant, Rustam Minnikhanov attracted attention of the deputy working groups to the necessity to be more active in working with enterprises, meeting labour teams and facilitating attraction of state support at the federal level.
He also emphasized that the regional Minister of Agriculture together with the deputies should already begin work with the federal center on issues of supporting rural workers as the draught impacts the grain yield.
Rustam Minnikhanov stated that despite a complicated situation it is necessary to continue work on national projects under implementation and use all existing possibilities. “Every ruble attracted to the republic should work for the good of its residents and facilitate improvement of life quality of people,” the Rais of Tatarstan said.
Addressing directly the senators and deputies, he called them to be more active working with people directly and use their efforts to solve issues which are most worrying for population. “We all work in the interests of the republic and Tatarstan residents. Your main task is to stand for interests of your electorate”, he concluded.
The Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin informed participants of the meeting about implementation of legislative initiatives of the local parliament, and the regional Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov told about participation of Tatarstan in implementation of federal targeted programmes and projects and results of the first six months of the current year. He informed that Tatarstan has been allocated 31.4bn rubles on implementation of 26 federal and 13 national and 50 regional projects.
The deputy of the Russian State Duma from Tatarstan Ayrat Farrakhov told about Russian budget generation for 2024 and the planned period of 2025-2026 and Maksim Topilin told about work on legislative initiatives of Tatarstan at the spring session of Russian State Duma. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov informed participants of the meeting about prospects of development of Innopolis and projects under implementation.
There are 17 working groups in the republic headed by a supervising member of the Russian State Duma or a senator, their main aim being attracting federal money to the economy of Tatarstan through participation in national projects and state programmes, promotion of legislative initiatives of the republic and fulfilling mandates of residents of the republic.
