Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the XXIII Federal and III International Mining Sabantuy in Kemerovo

On July 1, in Kemerovo, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of Kemerovo region-Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev visited the festive area, where the XXIII Federal and III International Mining Sabantuy took place.

In the capital of Kuzbass, Sabantuy brought together about 3,000 participants, including creative teams from Tatarstan, the Kemerovo region and Siberia, delegations from various regions of Russia, workers and veterans of the coal industry. In total, about 10,000 spectators attended the holiday.

Tsivilev congratulated the participants and guests of Sabantuy, noting the high level of cooperation between Tatarstan and Kuzbass.

The Rais of Tatarstan thanked the leadership of the Kemerovo region for the excellent organization of the holiday. “I am sincerely glad to be here, thank you for the opportunity to visit your wonderful city, where representatives of different nationalities and religions live in peace and harmony. You are very open and friendly. I congratulate everyone on Sabantuy!” Minnikhanov said. He also handed over the keys to the minibus to the local organization of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy.
