Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with work of Kazan Pedagogical College

On 27 June On 27 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited Kazan Pedagogical College where its Director Anfisa Zalyalova told him that the educational institution was established in 1876 under the name of Kazan Tatar Teachers School.

She informed that currently the College trains about 2 thousand students and implements four main educational programmes, namely teaching in primary school, pre-school education; physical training, information systems and programming, and nine programmes of additional professional education for teachers in kindergartens and primary schools.

Rustam Minnikhanov walked round class rooms, got acquainted with the process of education and talked to college students.

In 2014 the college opened the Resource Center for teachers’ training in Tatarstan. In the last five years the college ranks among top-100 best educational organizations of Russia by “Young professionals” movement standards.
