On 23 June, speaking at a plenary session of the International scientific-applied conference ”Modern business education: Russia and the world” held at the Kazan Federal University, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov greeted the participants of the conference, having reminded that a similar meeting was held in 2018 under different geopolitical conditions though. “Russia steers a steady course of building a multi-polar world based on principles of sovereign equality of states, diversity of cultures and civilizations. We know the reaction of the collective West,” he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the task of training mangers capable of working in the most difficult situation is as important as never before. He attracted the attention of participants to the fact that it is not for the first time that Tatarstan becomes a platform for expert discussion dedicated to issues of business education.
The republic has a well-developed industrial foundation and powerful scientific and technical potential and educational and research organizations are involved into implementation of all key activities of the Science and Universities national project and the connected strategic initiatives, he said.
The Rais of the republic told about Tatarstan universities taking part in the federal programmes of “Priority-2030”|and the Student’s Startups, where the republic ranks the first having left Moscow and St Petersburg behind, and the last international economic forum “Russia –Islamic world and the International Forum of Education Ministers held in Kazan recently.
Having emphasized that the Higher School of Business of Kazan Federal University occupies a special place among other educational organizations of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov said:”I am sure the professional dialogue with participation of representatives of the School and other universities of the country will make it possible to find answers for further improvement of business education in our country.”
The conference that is held from 23 to 24 June with participation of more than 100 representatives from Iran, Malaysia, China, Zambia and other foreign countries and regions of Russia discusses new challenges at the managerial education market, changes in the structure and content of managerial education programs and strengthening cooperation of business school and business communities.
