On 23 June at their meeting in the Government House in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board of the Russian Highways (Avtodor) State Company Vyacheslav Petushenko discussed issues of construction of the M-12 speed highway with the length of 142 kilometers in Tatarstan. Also taking part in the meeting were the First Deputy Board Chairman – the Head of the M-12 company branch Mars Gazizullin, the First Deputy Board Chairman in Investments Policy Igor Koval and the Minister of Transport and Road Economy of the republic Farit Khanifov.
The parties also discussed possibility of implementation of promising regional investments projects using the mechanism of private concession initiative with the corporate PPP scheme, namely joint construction of departure roads from the center of Kazan to the M-7 Volga highway and the relief road of the Settlement of Derbyshky at the section from M-7 till Kazankompressormash Plant.
In the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov handed in Vyacheslav Petushenko the medal commemorated to the 100th anniversary of TASSR for his fruitful cooperation and substantial contribution into development of Tatarstan.
