On 22 June, speaking at his meeting with the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the premises of the Kazan Aircraft Plant, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that their meeting is taking place at one of the most famous aircraft plants of the country.
“The plant is facing the task of raising the amount of production up to 20 planes a year. Vladimir Putin supported the project and money has been allocated. I am sure you will be able to do this,” he said.
In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that today’s event is life-changing for the plant and despite unprecedented sanctions the industry of the republic continues to develop.
Reporting Mikhail Mishustin about the social and economic development of the republic in January-May 2023, Rustam Minnikhanov said that its GRP made 1.4 trillion rubles, the amount of shipped produce – 1.7 trillion, the attracted investments reached about 156bn and the amount of construction work made 161bn rubles( showing nearly 10 per cent growth).
“All indicators have been reached due to the degree of safety formed in previous years and quick anti-crisis measures. We are thankful for this timely support to Russian President Vladimir Putin and you personally, Mikhail Vladimirovich,” he said and emphasized that 70bn rubles were allocated on support of industrial enterprises of the republic in 2022.
Rustam Minnikhanov stressed the importance of achieving the technological independence as sanctions still influence economy. “To do this we continue implementation of large investments projects and develop new productions,” he said.
During their conversation, the Rais of the republic also reported about Russian Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko having taken part in opening of the new facility of Children’s policlinic 6 located inside the residential community in Kazan.
Mikhail Mishustin said it is very important to develop social infrastructure and emphasized that Tatarstan has organized work in issues of technological sovereignty at the high level.
