Rustam Minnikhanov visits the spiritual-educational and pilgrimage center of the Kazan diocese

On June 21, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Kirill visited multifunctional spiritual-educational and pilgrimage center of Kazan diocese.

The centre is located in a historic building (Bolshaya Krasnaya St., 12), built at the beginning of the 20th century, which belonged to the Kazan Religious School. In the Soviet years, it hosted various institutions. Recently, the building was overhauled. Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the renovated premises, a refectory (dining room) for believers, an assembly hall and guest rooms. Metropolitan Kirill said that the new center will serve the dissemination of spiritual and moral values and Christian traditions, will contribute to the revival and development of Orthodox pilgrimage.
