Rustam Minnikhanov meets senior executives of Public Television of Russia TV Channel

On June 21, at the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of Public Television of Russia TV Channel.

The channel started broadcasting on May 19, 2013. It is one of the top 20 TV channels on average daily audience coverage. Main formats are: news, analytical discussions, feature films, documentaries and animation films, educational programmes. Considerable attention is paid to the coverage of the life of the regions. Tatarstan has been cooperating with Public Television of Russia TV Channel for several years. Since 2019 the TV channel «Tatarstan - New Age» has been on the broadcasting schedule.

The meeting participants discussed the further development of cooperation. In particular, the Channel plans to inform in detail about the history and achievements of Tatarstan under the project «the Day of the Region».
