Rustam Minnikhanov: Profession of a medical doctor is one of the most complicated and demanding great devotion

On 19 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in  ceremony of awarding winners of the competition “The Doctor of the Year – Ak Chachaklar” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center where he congratulated all participants of the event with their professional holiday – the Day of the Medical Worker.

“You distinguished work is avocation. Only passionate people choose this complicated profession of serving other people. Each of us entrusts you with the most valuable thing we have – our life,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.

He stated that the republic attaches great attention to modernization of the healthcare system, mastering advanced medical technologies, maternity and child welfare and increasing the birth rate and longevity.

“Profession of a medical doctor is one of the most complicated and demanding great devotion. You holiday is another chance to express great appreciation for your hard and selfless work. I assure you that the administration of the republic will always support all your beginnings,” the Rais of the republic said.

After having awarded the winners of the competition Ak-Chachaklar-2023 – the head of the anesthesiology, intensive care medicine and emergency medicine department of the Kazan State Medical University Aynagul Bayalieve and the midwife from the Zelenodolsk department of the Central Regional Hospital Yelena Rodonova, Rustam Minnikhanov honored memory of the former Healthcare Minister of the republic Marat Sadykov, who died in January of the current year and who was awarded by the Pirogov Order posthumously. He handed in the award to the widow Dinara Sadykova and said: “We have decided to name Hospital 7 in Kazan after Marat Sadykov, as when he was the chief medical officer of it, the hospital became one of the most advanced.”
